Organizations are aiming to alleviate the elderly physical challenges through technology, but the adoption of the latter has been rather low. Why? When evidencing flaws in the Spanish society systems and structures that leave the elderly population alone in their emotional aging process, the idea of a collective change seems more urgent than ever.

What if we reframed the value and perception of an domestic product to elevate it?
Why are stepladders always hidden? Research highlighted stepladders's low usage at home and the impact on the perception of it: they are often considered useless, or are forgotten when saved/hid somewhere. Designing a new product - materials, production processes, typologies and aesthetics - that adapts to domestic expectation can potentially change the perception, usage and value of it.
